Mr. Preet Bedii has more than 30 years of experience in cranes and is currently at the post of Managing Director of one of the largest crane rental company with fleet of over 100 equipment Barkat Cranes & Equipment Pvt. Ltd. He has worked in several engineering, commercial and leadership positions in the heavy lifting industry.

Avissek Gaayen has more than 10 years of experience in Load Testing and Certification of Lifting Equipment and is active in a number of engineering, commercial and leadership positions.

Facilities & Capabilities

HEFT has a specialized test house and space for fabrication positioned strategically to stay close to key industrial areas. The system we built provides us with the means to carry out design, fabrication, Non-destructive Testing, proof load tests and certifying various types of lifting equipment.

Testing Infrastructure

Our testing facility houses horizontal test beds and load testing machines that can accomplish high-capacity proof load tests for lifting beams, spreader beams, slings, shackles and other special lifting devices. The equipment we have includes calibrated load cells, deadweights and data acquisition units that help us make proof test reports of the equipment.

Fabrication & Manufacturing

The manufacturing rooms are fitted with equipment needed for cutting, shaping and welding structural steel elements, plates and tubes for specialized vessels for lifting. The welds are performed in accordance with prescribed methods and undergo NDT before being painted.

Design & Engineering Tools

The company design department utilizes CAD 3D software and FEA technologies to develop projects for lifting devices and predict their reaction to load.

Storage & Logistics

We have organized storage facilities for modular spreader beam parts, load testing weights, offshore baskets, and rental lifting equipment. Effective logistics helps us transport equipment on projects with limited timelines across the country or to other countries.
